Teeling Whiskey Unveils World's First Crystal Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Teeling Whiskey are proud to announce the release of the highly anticipated Teeling Crystal Single Malt. This innovative expression pushes the boundaries of Irish Whiskey craftsmanship through the use of a highly atypical mash bill and innovative cask maturation techniques, as a limited expression of this Award-Winning Single Malt. This is the World's First Crystal Single Malt Irish Whiskey.

Crystal Malt is created when the sugars that are naturally formed during the traditional malting process are crystallised through heat treatment in a closed system that prevents the moisture from escaping. This produces a highly distinctive toffee-like flavour, along with hints of tropical fruits.

Limited to only 18,000 bottles, the Teeling Crystal Single Malt underwent triple distillation at Teeling's Dublin Distillery. It comprises a Single Malt crafted by incorporating Crystal Malt into the mash bill, with subsequent maturation occurring exclusively in Virgin American Oak Casks. It is bottled at 46%, with no chill filtration, presenting an Irish whiskey of genuine character.
