Teeling Whiskey Releases Virgin Ash Cask Single Malt

Teeling Whiskey has today announced a Distillery Exclusive 19YR Virgin Ash Cask. 

This new 19 Year Old Single Malt was aged initially in an ex-bourbon cask before being transferred to a high quality Virgin Ash Cask for further maturation, giving a full depth of flavour. It is amongst some of the oldest vintage stock available at Teeling Whiskey Distillery. 

This rare and unique cask complements the flavours in the whiskey with notes of candied citrus, spice and orchard fruits!

Bottled at cask strength of 53.6% ABV with no chill filtration. Only 230 bottles of this exclusive Single Malt are available to buy at Teeling Whiskey Distillery and on their Online Shop, priced at €180.00.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Oak tannins, honey, candied citrus and spice.

Taste: Creamy vanilla, cardamom & pepper , orchard fruits.

Finish: Long and nutty finish with hints of sweet herbal notes
