Redacted Independent Bottlers Launches Inaugural Release

Redacted Independent Bottlers has chosen Killowen Distillery as its partner for its inaugural bottling.

The single pot still whiskey, Redacted 001 Single Pot Still Killowen Distillery, was produced in Killowen Distillery at the foothills of the Mourne Mountains in Co. Down using wild fermentation, flame distillation, and worm tub condensation before being matured in an ex-peated cask from Great Northern Distillery for just over 3 years and bottled in a striking bottle at 62.45% ABV, non chill filtered and in its natural color.

This is the first release from the newly formed Redacted Independent Bottlers who aim to highlight the wonderful distilleries and artists of Ireland with each release. With jaw-dropping artwork by celebrated Belfast artist Fiona McDonnell, the label on this release captures the local Mourne folklore of 'The Black Dog of the Rock'.
